Helium's solutions are based on a one-of-a-kind, patented (5 issued patents) technology platform based on 10 years of experience of designing, deploying and managing large-scale Wi-Fi networks at Carnegie Mellon University.

Helium's flagship product, the Wireless Recon system, is the industry's most accurate and efficient Wi-Fi site survey and design solution. Wireless Recon helps network engineers and technicians conduct site surveys, or audit 802.11 a/b/g wireless networks in half the time of traditional site survey and design methods. At the same time, the system collects the industry's largest set of real wireless measurements, and maps them agains precise locations.

We have also introduced SiteStumbler, a cost-effective, entry-level wireless site survey and audit tool that enables users to visualize and map 802.11 a/b/g wireless networks.

Helium offers services provided by SkyMark, a Pittsburgh-based technology company which provides wireless network surveys, design and consulting services.
