Acela Technologies, Inc. is a leading network systems integrator that provides engineering services, technology assessments, and information assurance to government and commercial entities. Acela selected Wireless Recon to utilize as a tool for its various customer applications and wireless deployments. When Acela engineers saw a demo of Wireless Recon, their immediate reaction was that it would significantly reduce site survey costs for their customers due to its ability to automatically and continuously collect and analyze real wireless measurements with position location information. It also reduces documentation requirements for site surveys since Acela can use any type of facility drawing as a background reference – they’re no longer limited to just AutoCAD drawings.

Preferred Primary Care Physicians (PPCP), one of Southwestern Pennsylvania’s largest physicians practice group, was experiencing extreme connectivity issues with its mission-critical wireless network deployment. The company contracted Helium, which used Wireless Recon to quickly determine the network’s coverage holes, channel conflicts and interference from third-party devices.
